Capers are the tiny unopened buds of shrubby caper bush which is native to the Mediterranean.Caperberries however, are the mature fruit of the bush, which are naturally fermented then pickled in brine. Widely used as a garnish or used in anti-pasta or seafood. The flavor of the caper berry is similar to that of the caper, only far less intense.
