Lingot D'Argental is a delicious Double Creme cheese with a fat content of 60%, so falling somewhere between a 75% fat triple cream such as Brillat Savarin, and the more typical 45% white mould brie or camembert. The cheese hails from the heart of the Pilat Regional Nature Park in the Rh"ne-Alpes region of France and it's shape is a rectangular log of 1kg size. Made from pasturised cows milk and presented with a soft, bloomy white rind, Lingot Double Creme is produced using Ultrafiltration which produces a smooth consistently uniform curd and a creamy lush consistency.
