Fromage du Jour: Fromage Blanc Fermier
Six speed humps of category 3 and 4 are a feature of this stage. Tired riders aren't going to like this section. Having just come out of the mountains, the sprinters will be very tired.

The drama unfolds. Suspensions and sackings give "Le Tour" an element of a cheesy day time TV soap. This sort of controversy must be good for TV ratings. "Vive Le Tour". If Cadel Evans can hang on during the Time Trial on Saturday then there is every chance he will be defending the yellow jersey rolling into Paris.
Made from raw cows' milk the Fromage Blanc is quite refreshing. The flavour is crisp and lactic.
Fromage Blanc Fermier is a slightly older/Mature version of Fromage Blanc. The cheese is basically a curd cheese.
