The recent Victorian bushfires pushed the Yarra Valley Grape Grazing festival back. The good news is that a new date has been set.

It's an enticing combination which makes the annual Yarra Valley Grape Grazing Festival so attractive - boutique wineries showcasing their fine wines with great food and fabulous entertainment. It's a celebration of fruitful abundance, drawing fun-loving people together in this truly beautiful wine region on Melbourne's doorstep.

The 2009 Grape Grazing Festival on 18th - 19th April brings new winery participants and some extra special events to the Festival, broadening its appeal to every lover of food and wine. You can Graze, Taste, Indulge ... and Dance. You've got to love it all.

Now in its 22nd year, the Yarra Valley Grape Grazing Festival is a 'must do' event on Victoria's summer calendar. Picture it and be part of it. To get the best out of the Festival, peruse this brochure and discover the range of offerings from each winery as you plan your itinerary.

Wineries in the Graze level form the core of the Festival and continue the tradition of offering fabulous entertainment on both days, with a great range of food to accompany their wines. Consider visiting some new gems before returning to old favourites, or simply visit three wineries in festive spirit for a progressive celebration.

For the first time a shuttle bus service will operate at frequent intervals to pick up and drop off at these Graze level wineries. So, leave the car at home and book your seat on this shuttle service, departing regularly from Lilydale Station.

Wineries in the Taste level offer a new dimension to the festival. Catering for small groups, they offer intimate tastings of superb wines and the opportunity to learn more from passionate proprietors. Devise your own tasting trail and make it a path of new discovery during the Grape Grazing weekend.

You can also Indulge in a wonderful Grape Grazing lunch over the weekend before visiting a Taste or Graze winery or treat yourself one or more of the festival's Special Events on this particularly romantic weekend.
