kirkfood tipping - Round 9, May 23-25 Coll v Geelong 7.40pm MCG

Last year the weekly prize often climbed to $300, this year it's tough going just to get through the week! In a word...Shredded! $50 divided among 25 tipsters backing ALL the winners, unbelievable! Just goes to show the quality of tipping legends the kirkfood comp attracts.

We have noticed that Brenton Schapel has been pegged back a few notches by 9YO tipping youngster and quiet achiever, Fraser Douglas. I'm told Fraser loves his tipping and this year it's all smiles. I'm also told his old man is not to go anywhere near his tips and this is the reason young Fraser is doing so well...yeah, stay out of it old boy!

After 8 rounds it's a feeding frenzy up top, special mentions to Ken Ure and Jane Pease, both almost recuperating their season entry fee. At this stage though, no sight of last years joint winner Scott Simmons. Currently ranked 54th, perhaps Scotty needs to take a few pointers from his 8YO offspring Elliot (Currently ranked 23rd with $10 in his kit).
