Originating from the heartland of the Normandy coast in France, Le Coutance gathers all the different flavors found in the lush pastures of Normandy where the cows are able to graze in pastures 9 months of the year, next to the Atlantic Ocean.

Named after the beautiful town of Coutances, this authentic, traditional soft ripened cheese is creamy with a milky aftertaste: a true cheese-lovers delight. Le Coutances is a rustic soft-ripened cheese with a rich, creamy paste and milky taste that develops nicely with age. It has a unique subtle flavor with its soft and yellow interior and a soft, bloomy white rind.
