Gleneva Black WinterTruffles, Orange, NSW.

Date: 28-May-2007 News Blog

It's getting to that time of year again. Chefs begin to go into a frenzy similar to the phenomenom you sometimes see down at the beach when you throw a chip among a bunch of Seagulls. I had an email from Jarrod Fitzgerald, whose family own the Gleneva Trufferie just out of Orange in NSW central West. Jarrod says they will be running the dog around the Trufferie next week, so hopefully, we'll have our first truffles for the season soon. It should be a good season with conditions looking almost perfect. Stay tuned for more details.
